Connect the red wire to the positive pole of a fully charged battery 12V lead-acid, and the black to negative pole. Turn on the device only in accordance with the propeller. Must turn. The higher speed configuration, you must run faster.
This does not say what prompted it to run, when to pull a boat on the lake, but at least you know if the engine is running and controls are functional.
This will only work for 12V engines - if you have a 24-volt motor, it takes two 12V batteries connected in series.
